Certifications

Organic Certification – issued by SUOLO e SALUTE (Soil and Health) certification body

It certifies the organic production of both the managing of the lands and the end product (pasta, farro and flour), respecting the environment, without the use of chemicals or Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs).

Vegetable patent of the “Monterosso Select” seed

Issued by the Ministero Delle Politiche Agricole e Forestali (Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry) for having brought back in purity the oldest quality of farro “Triticum dicoccum” suitable for its qualitative characteristics, for the production of pasta.

BRC and IFS

The BRC (British Retail Consortium) and IFS (International Food Standard) certifications guarantee the production of pasta which is obtained in compliance with well-defined international quality standards in compliance with the regulations.

KOSHER CERTIFICATION

As the word Kosher literally indicates “in compliance with the law” our goods are produced in compliance with the Bible. The consumer is informed that Kosher certified pasta has successfully undergone and passed the strict procedure for obtaining this certification

IKU

It certifies that the product is made respecting the principles of the Jewish religion

HACCP

Monterosso is managed by own-check systems, as in the production chain processes framework, in compliance with the HACCP standard.

2004 NIAF Award

Recognition in Washington by the NIAF “National Italian American Foundation” for its high quality in the Italian agri-food sector.

2008 NIP Award

Recognition of the NIP Nazionale Italiana Pizzaioli (National Italian Pizza Makers) for the production of high quality pizza with alternative flours.

2003, 2008 Bandiera Verde Agricola Award

A recognition which awards the realities that have distinguished themselves in the policies of environmental and landscape protection also for tourism purposes, in the rational use of the soil, in the enhancement of typical products linked to the territory, in the action aimed at improving the living and economic conditions of agricultural operators and more generally of citizens.
